What do you do when you feel creative, do you color, build, paint? North Shore Middle School students go to the Makers Space, it is located in room 109A in the main hallway. North Shore Middle School teachers Mr. Benfield, Ms.DeMeola, and Mr. Fichinni are the three teachers who are in charge of this beautiful space.

Walking into room 109A, you might get a flow of creativity and ideas. There are many things that provoke inspiration. There is a section of the room for several different. Options. One section of the room is filled with technology. For example, there is a 3D printer and two working computers, also there is a computer that is being dissected. You can see all the wires inside the computer. Another section is for wood. The smell of fresh cut wood fills your nose as you walk into the room.
The Makers Space has been a work in progress since spring of 2015. North Shore Middle School Principal Dr.Ferris wanted a place for his students to be creative and innovative. He certainly did a great job making this idea a big success. Students and teachers love creating and letting their imaginations take over, the Makers Space is the place to do it.
